We had great sessions on how to navigate my emotions and burnout. I have been able to utilize the skills acquired to reflect on the source of mental burnout, but also create balance through the use of meditational breathing, prioritization, and delegation of work. I think this has made me a better leader. I've learnt how to improve my communication with staff and set boundaries.
I am applying the [practices] on tension and conflict: looking at my reaction to conflict and difficult situations and how I deal with that—sitting with my feelings, and thinking about if there is a different way I can react than in the past. A huge part is just recognizing patterns.
It was a good program to evaluate, diagnose and monitor situations that need to change, and to improve our work and organizational structure. It also allowed us to take time in the middle of our routine to think about the future and be strategic.
Coaching provided a space to discuss personal and organisational issues that may otherwise never have been shared anywhere even though they could impact organisational productivity and personal development.
The coaching sessions had a significant impact on my work and my organization. Personally, I developed a deeper understanding of wellness and work-life balance strategies, which I was able to contribute to strengthening our organization's policies and practices in these areas.
I am better organized and we are getting better organized as a team as well. We are a bit more adaptable to new challenges and we are doing a lot of building and growing
